Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Program at Jamia Islamia Isha'atul Uloom Primary Urdu School, Akalkuwa, District Nandurbar

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Allah sent me to perfect good character."

In today's advanced era, tools like mobile internet have become widespread, leading to an increase in immorality and obscenity among the youth. In such times, the beautiful conduct of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the key to success. With this aim, under the auspices of Jamia Islamia Isha'atul Uloom Primary Urdu School, Akalkuwa, District Nandurbar, Maharashtra, a competition of Na'at recitation and speeches was held for the students on the topic of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH). Twenty students from the school participated in the event. The judges for the Na'at recitation and speech competition were Mufti Fazlur Rahman, a teacher at Madarsa Darul Uloom Mahboobiya, Rajasthan, and Mr. Syed Wajahat Ali, Principal of Jamia Polytechnic College.

The event was presided over by the esteemed Khadim-ul-Khair wal-Umah Hazrat Maulana Huzaifa Sahab Vastanvi (Hafizahullah). As special guests, Professor Aqeel Ali Syed (Provost, JIIU Group of Institutions, Akalkuwa), Muhammad Shahid Khan (PRO, Public Relations Officer), and Principal Saud Sir from Jamia Law College graced the occasion.

The schoolchildren recited beautiful Na'ats and delivered enthusiastic speeches about the life and personality of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). At the end of the event, the honorable president, Maulana Huzaifa Sahab Vastanvi (Hafizahullah), gave valuable advice to the young children, the teachers, and the guardians present at the event. He emphasized the importance of studying the Seerat (life) of the Prophet (PBUH), stating that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the best example for all humanity. He further quoted the Prophet's saying, "Allah sent me to perfect good character." He recommended reading books on the Prophet's character, including "Qasas-un-Nabiyyin" by Maulana Ali Miyan Nadwi, which was translated into Urdu as "Qasas-ul-Anbiya" by his sister, Ummatullah Tasneem. This book is highly beneficial for children and is still read in many households today. Maulana also praised Talib Hashmi, a talented writer who has written excellent books on the lives of the Companions and the Prophet (PBUH) for children. He urged everyone to read these books and share them with children.

Maulana Huzaifa Sahab specifically highlighted that the responsibility for the upbringing of children lies primarily with the parents, primary school teachers, and madrasa teachers. If they do not put effort into the students, these children will not succeed in either worldly or religious matters.

Following his concluding prayer, the president completed his address. May Allah grant us the ability to act upon these teachings. Ameen.

After the presidential address, the prizes for the Na'at and speech competitions were distributed by the president according to the jury's decision. All participants were also awarded prizes by the judges and special guests as an encouragement.

In the Na'at competition, the first prize was won by Afra Aamil Khan Pathan from Class 4. The second prize was awarded to Noor Fatima Raees Khan Pathan from Class 1, and the third prize went to Yusra Fatima Jabir Ahmed from Class 3. In the speech competition, Khadija Irfan Patel from Class 3 won first place, Tahira Fatima Jamal Ahmed Shaikh from Class 4 came in second, and Sheikh Ammar Abdul Waheed from Class 2 secured third place.

Principal Javed Farooqui Sir expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the guests who attended the event. The event was hosted by Mr. Tanveer Mirza. Thanks to the hard work and efforts of the school's teachers—Minhaj Sir, Akbar Sir, Anwar Sir, Master Zubair, and Shahrukh Bhai—the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) program was highly successful.
